Talofa & welcome to the Fa'afafine Rural Program, a project under the American Samoa Alliance that is dedicated to creating safe, communal, organizational & resourceful spaces for the fa'afafine & fa'atane community, while developing intersectional advocacy programs that serve the broader SOGIESC + communities of American Samoa. Our main objectives are to empower our fa'afafine community, to build resilience for SOGIESC victims of domestic violence & sexual assault and to enhance community awareness on the issues that affect our demographic.
