The "Fala Lalaga" show is a series of conversations about issues that affect the fa'afafine community in American Samoa, hosted by Program Manager, Jaiyah Saelua, and Program Coordinator, Uni Tanielu, with a special guest in some of our episodes. Video Talk Show:

The Fala Lalaga podcast has been revamped into a video talk show, filmed in our Resource Center every other month. Tune in for Alliance and Rural updates, community activities & events, and a special segment dedicated to our partner, SOFIAS.

Episode one

Episode one is an introduction to our program - our objectives, plans, initiatives and activities. The episode is hosted by the program manager, Jaiyah Saelua, supported by our program coordinator, Uni Tanielu. 

EPISODE TWO

Episode two begins with announcing the changes we've made to the show. Our program manager talks about our activities and events in October and November and then shares plans for December into 2025. We also welcome our first guest, Ms. Shiki Leaupepe - DOE CTE Program Director and current president of SOFIAS. Shiki shares about her work, some SOFIAS updates and the organizations plans to attend the annual SFA pageant in Samoa.
