Talanoa Podcasts

Talanoa" Podcast is focused on organic, authentic conversations that are not scripted--and often created to inform the community about domestic and sexual violence, or to share a story about tactics used for power and control, patriarchal societies, and oppressive behavior that support violence.  The Alliance uses the framework developed in the "Pou Tu Model" that relies on "Tautua" (services & responsibility), "Alofa" (love & commitment), and "Fa'aaloalo" (respect and dignity) for each session.  The "Pou Tu" is the pole that stands in the center of a Samoan Fale (hut/home) to strengthen bonds and relationships.  Through these podcasts we continue to strengthen bonds and relationships using respect and dignity for each podcast to increase awareness, empower individuals and collaboration to eliminate domestic and sexual violence.
