Fa'afafine Rural Program Resource Center
In 2021, the Alliance was funded by the Office of Violence against Women to develop a data informed plan to train community-based fa'afafine advocates and build a supporting infrastructure. Since then, this project continues to develop programs, initiatives, physical spaces, online & in-person resources that are made available for fa'afafine advocates and community learners. These resources are designed to train advocates to be liaisons of the program into the public, to educate our community on the issues that impact our demographic, and ways we can improve the lives of the fa'afafine, fa'atane, SOGIE, MVBPFAFF & LGBTQIA+ people in American Samoa. |
