April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). For the Alliance it is more than just awareness, because our ultimate goal is to increase prevention. The message of "I Ask" is a simple statement, and an example of what it takes to end sexual harassment, abuse and assault. By encouraging our community to "I Ask" it sends the message that asking for consent is a normal and necessary part of sex.
